BCM: Live Tweeting 2

In my previous live tweeting reflection, which covered live tweets from weeks 1-6, I gave some tips and methods that I thought were essential for mastering the live tweeting skills. Although I had some great ideas to achieve better outreach, I was still lacking behind from my other classmates. Mainly because when my classmates were tweeting and watching movie at the same time, I was either lost in the movie or fallen asleep. One skill that I’ve never excelled in life is multitasking and this task seriously required that. In this blog, I’ll reflect upon my tweets and interactions. Hopefully, would do better in the future tweeting sessions.

I have done some tweets that I particularly liked on the movies Robot and Frank and Alita battle Angel. These two movies were my favourite and I payed close attention during its screening.

The reason why I liked Robot and Frank so much was simple, the robot shown was not too uncommon, the story was easy-going and I certainly believe that its possible to have robots assisting us fully at home. Japan might be already on it!

I used this movie as a reference in my Digital Artefact too, it reminded me of my favourite robot Baymax. Baymax and robot are identical in emotions, they both cared and loved their master.

I’ve expressed my thoughts of keeping a robot of such in future through tweeting as you can see above, these robots gave me a warmth and more optimistic side of future robots, most other movies focus on robots being dangerous and humans completely depending on them.

Watching Alita Battle Angel, it reminded me of the sad reality that has been broadcasted all around the world. Altering your appearance, now people use plastic surgery to transform themselves, would we be using metal parts to replace our skin and muscles in the future? Is that how upset we are with out physical appearances and abilities?

I have appreciated m most of my classmates for their excellent skills in tweeting, I wish I could’ve done somewhat like them.

Below are some of may favourite tweets from my classmates:

Gio spoke my mind, I hate shopping in real life, it’s honestly very embarrassing. I feel like I’m being watched at all times, either the salesperson thinking I’m a thief or genuinely thinking I need help. I wish this could be a reality soon.

Iqra spoke of an important issue regarding e-waste in this era, the comparison pictures she posted were a good touch to her statement.

I wish I could be more prepared for my tweets next time. I should practise multitasking and work on managing my time well.
