My experience with UNO
I’ve always been a competitive sibling, cousin and a friend. That’s not in academic sense but rather little games such as UNO and Ludo. These two games are close to my heart but of course UNO is closer since I mostly win hehe.
Uno isn’t just about luck, you need to have skills and strategies, you need to know when to put in your cards and how to stock up. Everyone in the field winds up into their head analysing their next moves and the other players previous.
You ALSO NEED concentration, one minute you’re distracted, there goes your game set up.
UNO is literally a perfect game for all ages, although every age group seems to have their own set of rules, here’s the official rules and steps of the game.
Mechanics
The game is designed for two to ten players. After the cards have been shuffled, each player is dealt seven face-down cards. The leftover cards represent the draw stack. One selects the top card from the draw stack and places it next to the other cards.
The starting player should choose one card from the top of the undisturbed stack and place it in the center beside the pile. The player must then match the numbers or colors on the card. If a player lacks a matching card, they must draw one from the unused stack. If the player has the matching cards, they should continue to throw matching cards until they win.
Those who don’t have a match must draw cards from the draw pile until they do.
Individuals can also employ the Action and wild cards depending on the game. If the card is an Action card, the following player must perform the act, and the game proceeds in that color. If a wild card is thrown in Uno, the next player should pick cards based on the card thrown.
When a person is dealt the final card. That player should be the first to say “Uno,” followed by the others. If someone else says “Uno,” the player with the solitary card must choose ten cards. The game continues, however, if the prayer with the sole card says Uno first.
At the end of the game, the person with the sole card in their hand wins. However, other players must continue to participate. The game will terminate when just one individual has cards in his or her card.
